HD9-SU2S2 is fully compatible with both SATA II and USB 2.0 specifications. It supports high-speed data transfer rates of up to 3 Gbps(SATA II) or 480 Mbps(USB 2.0), and it is also backward compatible with USB 1.1 specifications. In addition to that, all the HD6 series are hot-swappable and Plug and Play compatible.
